Notepads

We produce a variety of notepad styles for different uses. Standard writing pads are the classic lined or blank pads used in offices and meetings. Desk pads are larger and sit on your desk as a work surface with a branded header. Memo pads are smaller, typically A6 or pocket-sized, for quick notes. We also print spiral-bound notebooks with hard or soft covers, which are great for journals and long-term note-taking. All products can feature your logo on the cover and every internal page if you want consistent branding throughout.

Our standard sizes are A4 (21x30cm), A5 (15x21cm), and A6 (10x15cm). A5 is the most popular for general notepads because it is a comfortable size for writing and easy to carry. For desk pads, we can go larger, such as A3 or custom dimensions to fit your workspace. We can also produce pocket-sized or custom shapes if you have a specific requirement. Most notepads have between 25 and 100 pages. 50 pages is a popular choice that provides enough writing space without making the pad too thick. For thinner giveaway pads, 25 pages keeps costs down while still providing utility. For notebooks meant for extended use, we can go up to 200 pages or more with spiral or perfect binding. The page count affects thickness, so we will advise on what binding method works best for your desired page count.

Yes, we can print your logo, a header with your company name and contact details, or any other design element on every single page of the notepad. This is a great branding opportunity because your logo stays visible every time someone tears off a sheet or flips to a new page. We can print in one color (like your brand color) to keep costs down, or full color if you want a more elaborate design on each page.

For tear-off notepads, we use glue binding (also called padding) where pages are glued at the top and can be torn off cleanly one at a time. This is the standard for writing pads. For notebooks that stay together, we offer spiral binding (wire or plastic coil) which allows the notebook to open flat and fold back on itself. We also do staple binding for thin booklets and perfect binding (glued spine like a paperback book) for thicker notebooks. Each method suits different uses, and we can recommend the best option.

Notepad pages are typically printed on 70gsm to 80gsm uncoated paper, which is smooth and works well with pens and pencils. For a slightly more substantial feel, we can use 90gsm or 100gsm paper. The backing board is usually a thick grey board or cardboard that provides a sturdy writing surface. For spiral notebooks with covers, we use 250gsm to 350gsm card for the cover, with optional lamination for durability. All our papers are chosen for clean writing and minimal bleed-through from ink.
